My Inspiration
Ian G.

Everyone has an inspiration for what they do. My inspiration is my dad. He is always there for me and I’m so grateful for that. He never let’s me down when I need him. I don’t know how I’d survive without him.

One way my dad inspires me is how he stays true to him self. When a person first sees him they can tell through his clothes that he is a fun loving dad who enjoys sports and music. He also will do anything that he thinks is fun. Most of the time he doesn’t have regrets. These traits give the example to me. When he shows this trait i wish to be anything I aspire to be.

Another thing that my dad does to inspire me is his high expectations. For me and my twin brother and sister my dad has high expectations. In our academics he expects A’s and some B’s. He also has high expectations for behavior. For instance he expects us to listen when he is talking to us and to do what he tells us to do.For me personally he has expectations in sports. He expects me to work hard and to do my best in both basketball and soccer. With these expectations I want to succeed so as to make him happy. When he is happy I want to keep doing what makes him happy.

Finally, my dad inspires me because he is a great teacher. One way he is a good teacher is that he tries to be a good example. When he sets the example I know what to do to be good son.Another thing that he does is he treats me my age.He understands that I’m old enough to sit down and have an honest discussion. Something that most shows his teaching skills is that he doesn’t give up on me. Even when I make a big mistake.

Ever since the day I was born my dad has inspired me. I can’t wait to have him further teach me. I’m so grateful to have him as my dad. I couldn’t even imagine him being any other way.
